Ottawa, Canada, May 13, 2013 – Kinaxis®, provider of RapidResponse®, a cloud-based SCM and S&OP solution, is proud to announce that it was selected in the 2013 “100 Great Supply Chain Projects” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100. The award highlights the most impactful supply chain projects of the past year.
Kinaxis was nominated for a customer deployment project that improved the visibility, flexibility, and efficiency of demand and supply chain processes. Operating in a competitive and volatile market, the global electronics company recognized the need to improve their ability to quickly see and respond to supply and demand fluctuations. They have since adopted RapidResponse and realized dramatic enhancements to the speed and analytical capabilities of scenario planning, which have resulted in improvements in response rates of greater than 91%.
“We are honored to be named to the ‘100 Great Supply Chain Projects’ list,” said Kirk Munroe, vice president, marketing for Kinaxis. “Our single offering which addresses multiple supply chain applications helps our customers achieve excellence in their supply chain and it is wonderful to see our customers’ efforts recognized in this manner.”
"Our goal with this year's '100' is to put the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that are delivering bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the different functions that comprise the supply chain," said Barry Hochfelder, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "The projects featured in the '100' article can serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations."
All 100 recipients are featured in the cover story of the June 2013 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive, as well as online at www.SDCExec.com.
