Presenter: Fulfillment meets Response ManagementAs customers become increasingly demanding, and their brand loyalty continues to be challenged, ensuring that your finished goods are at the right place at the right time has never been more urgent. Under these circumstances, it is those individuals responsible for managing demand, either forecasted or real, that form the front line to exercising profitable course corrections. In this presentation, you will learn about the unique challenges that exist on the front line of demand change management, and what specific levers individuals have at the disposal to respond with confidence. Presenter: Implementing RapidResponse on Shifting SandRESEARCH IN MOTION (RIM) is a company experiencing explosive growth of volume output, staffing and manufacturing infrastructure. With a growing number of customers and shorter product lifecycles being supplied from an ever expanding and more highly contracted supply chain complex decisions need to be made in a constantly shrinking timeframe. It became obvious that existing software tools were not up to the challenge and that implementation of a decision support tool was essential. This presentation will describe how RIM's implementation team has overcome the challenges inherent in this environment, current issues and our plans for future expansion of the capabilities enabled by RapidResponse. Presenter: Kinaxis Product RoadmapThe product roadmap is a key artifact not only to help Kinaxis plan its development and product delivery schedule, but more importantly to help customers plan their RapidResponse migration path. Outlined in this presentation will be an overview of the next release – RapidResponse 9.2 as well as the key product development priorities for the next 12 to 18 months. Presenter: Managing Collaborative Product ChangeRapid product change, whether driven by market imperatives for product innovation and cost reduction, or by customer requirements when configuring complex products, carries significant risk to inventory costs and customer satisfaction. Product change is inherently a collaborative process as it can often impact multiple individuals in the planning and buying organizations, each having unique knowledge that needs to be considered. Attend this hands-on workshop where you will gain insights into capabilities for managing collaborative product change within RapidResponse. This workshop applies to RapidResponse for Manufacturing. Presenter: Multi-Enterprise ManagementSee how to use RapidResponse to manage your extended supply chain. The session will be focused on the needs of brand owners managing outsourced supply. However, it will also be of interest to contract manufacturers and to manufacturers using feeder plants. This will be a hands-on session describing how supply and demand are modeled through multiple enterprises. You will be working with the Multi-Enterprise Management scorecard, Multi-Enterprise Management workbook, and Multi-Enterprise Inventory workbook. You will also be introduced to tools for identifying gaps in your supply chain data. This workshop applies to RapidResponse for Manufacturing. Presenter: RapidResponse for FulfillmentYour S&OP planning process has just completed and you have a solid plan; then the phone rings and an important customer asks whether you can fulfill their large order that was not part of your forecast. Can you? Fulfillment groups — customer service, sales operations, demand managers, etc. — are drowning in this type of demand volatility. The changes to forecasts; the unexpected sales orders; the changes to existing orders — arrive from customers at an ever-increasing rate. Customer's expectations are such that you will get an answer to them within 24 hours, but yet the change requests keep flowing in. How do you cope? Kinaxis has added capabilities to RapidResponse to help the fulfillment group cope with this volatility. This workshop will explore these new capabilities and how, through a series of pre-defined resources (workbooks, task flows, scorecards), you can determine the best course of action to satisfy your customer's request; while understanding the impact your proposed actions will have on other customers and on your revenue. This workshop applies to RapidResponse for Fulfillment.
