Contributor – Foundational
RapidResponse - Working with Scenarios
This one-day course provides a foundation for all users to build on as they acquire the specialized RapidResponse skills they need, and it is a prerequisite for all other RapidResponse Applications, Authoring, and Administration training. It builds on the Introduction to RapidResponse videos and provides a more in-depth look at the core capabilities of RapidResponse. Through hands-on exercises and generic business-focused content, you will learn how to:

  • Create scenarios in order to assess the impact of changes before executing those changes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manage scenarios to track changes to data and to determine best solutions
  • Monitor data using alerts to receive automatic notifications of data changes and create custom filters to view only the data you are interested in
  • Perform complex editing in order to use scenarios in a variety of situations and to increase the opportunity for experimentation
  • Implement perspectives to perform repetitive or routine analysis without impacting standard planning calculations

Prerequisites: Introduction to RapidResponse

RapidResponse- Sales and Operations Planning
This course introduces the resources and tools to assist S&OP Process Owners and other contributors, such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Executives, in managing the S&OP process within the RapidResponse Sales and Operations Planning application. Students will learn how to apply the S&OP process, and how other related processes and activities fit into the overall S&OP process such as demand planning, statistical forecasting, aggregate supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory management. Students learn through hands-on exercises and business-focused content to complete these tasks:

  • Apply the RapidResponse sales and operations planning (S&OP) process.
  • Identify the RapidResponse Sales and Operations Planning application resources.
  • Understand the process and its activities.
  • Update the annual plan.

Prerequisites: Introduction RapidResponse, RapidResponse - Working with Scenarios, RapidResponse - Applications Overview

Author – Level 1
RapidResponse - Basic Authoring - Authoring Resources 1
This course sets the foundation for all other authoring courses by providing a basic understanding of the RapidResponse data model and basic analytics, and how to use them to create resources. Students learn through hands-on exercises and business-focused content. Authoring 1 is a prerequisite for the Authoring 2 and Authoring 3 courses.

  • Create basic workbooks, worksheets and filters
  • Understand how data is organized in the data model
  • Identify the table and field types
  • Understand the basic analytical calculations

Prerequisites: Introduction to RapidResponse, RapidResponse - Working with Scenarios
Duration: 2.5 days

+ Administrator Level 1

RapidResponse - User Administration
This course is for User Administrators who are responsible for the daily management of RapidResponse users. It provides best practices for creating and managing user and group accounts according to their RapidResponse roles. It shows students how to efficiently provide users with the appropriate resources and permissions required to perform their specific tasks. This course also discusses how to communicate information to users, as well as how to monitor user and group activities, such as resource usage. Students learn through hands-on exercises and business-focused content. On completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Create and manage groups and user accounts
  • Grant or deny permissions
  • Assign and keep track of resources
  • Communicate with users
  • Monitor resource usage
  • Review sign-in activities
  • Troubleshoot issues, such as canceling queries and disconnecting users

Prerequisites: Introduction to RapidResponse
Duration: 4 hours

RapidResponse – Continuous Classroom Subscription
For a one-time cost your subscription to Continuous Classroom gives you access to any confirmed virtual instructor-led training course for 1 year. Register for as many virtual instructor-led training courses as you want over your yearlong subscription and deepen your RapidResponse skills with more advanced courses, or repeat courses to solidify your learning.

Cancellation policy

All student cancellations must be received by email to knowledge@kinaxis.com.

A 50% cancellation fee will apply if the student cancels within 15 business days prior to the start date of the course. A 100% cancellation fee will apply within 10 business days or if the student does not attend. Please note student substitutions may be made for the course of enrollment up to two business days prior to the start date in email only to knowledge@kinaxis.com.

Cancellation fees apply to courses covered by Customer Reference Program credits and are obligated upon enrollment.

Scheduled courses may be canceled if a minimum number of students do not enroll. Should a course be cancelled for any reason, Kinaxis' liability is limited to the return of any prepaid tuition only. If the class is canceled by Kinaxis, Inc. you will be notified two weeks prior to the class start date.
