Jeffrey Archer; Honor Among Thieves Best advice you ever received: Never undersell your contributions but at the same time, never consider yourself to be irreplaceable.  I learned this at my first job watching a co-worker (and friend), who thought he was irreplaceable, demand a raise and threaten to leave if he didn’t get it.  He didn’t get it.  He was asked to leave.  What single piece of counsel would you offer to your colleagues in supply chain for the remainder of 2010? If you aren’t doing S&OP, you need to start now. If you are doing S&OP, you need to do it better. Never stop improving because your competitors won’t.
