Professional development

People matter here. That’s why we invest heavily in professional development, including professional memberships, certifications, internal and external training focused on technical skills, leadership skills and soft skills, and subscriptions for the eLearning sites TechTalks and BizTalks. We have a Community of Practices to promote best practices (Agile, DevOps and ScrumMasters, to name a few).

Hackathons

Every year for an entire week, our R&D team participates in a fast-paced and exciting hackathon event with executive judges and awards. When judging is over and winners are declared, Product Management goes into full gear to implement the top ideas into the product!

Patent program

Our Patent Program recognizes employees’ contributions at the application and award level. Our committee, which comprises employees, management, legal and a third party, meets regularly to review the latest great ideas.

Fun team events

At Kinaxis, we work hard, but we also take time to play. When there’s not a pandemic, you’ll find opportunities to play soccer and join outdoor activities like volleyball and yoga. Each department organizes regular team-building events so people can get to know each other in a non-work setting. Escape room or axe throwing, anyone?
