At Kinaxis, “People Matter Here” is our guiding principle.
It's core to building a company culture that celebrates our differences, continuously strives for equality, and recognizes that inclusion makes us stronger as individuals, as a company, and as global citizens.
We started making intentional strides in this space in 2020 – beginning with the official launch of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Here's how it works!
This volunteer-based committee includes employees from all levels of the company and has played a key role in defining a DEI vision for Kinaxis. This team has evaluated and selected company-wide DEI training and ensured that the voices and concerns of historically marginalized groups are incorporated in all our programs and processes.
DEI in action
Over the last three years, we’ve made efforts to refine our DEI roadmap into strategic focus areas and introduced formal goals to hold ourselves accountable in our progress. Our commitment extends to our hiring philosophy, where we’re devoted to ensuring that all candidates receive equitable and fair consideration at each step of the process.
The Campus Recruitment team hires over 180 students each year across the globe. Our commitment to DEI helps us build dynamic and effective teams.
"Promoting DEI within our teams is part of our corporate strategy. We currently hire students in Canada, United States, Ireland and India. We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and we work with our hiring managers to look for the best qualified candidates from a variety of different schools and programs to participate in our co-op and internship programs. As a result of our joint efforts, we have been able to maintain a successful campus program which has delivered strong results for both our internal teams and our customers."
– Rachael Pascall, Manager, Talent Acquisition Programs
As part of our core Corporate Strategy, DEI is embedded in everything we do. Our DEI committee, our Executive team, and our valued employees are all committed to building an inclusive workplace where we can all thrive.
