Additionally, Kinaxis announces the retirement from the Board of Ron Matricaria, following several years of dedicated service and the company appreciates his guidance and support over the years.
Kelly Thomas joins the Kinaxis Board as a 30-year veteran in supply chain management. He has served as Chief Product Officer of JDA Software, and SVP of Product Strategy (among other executive positions) at i2 Technologies, prior to its acquisition by JDA. He is currently CEO of Worldlocity, a research and advisory firm, specializing in supply chain management software.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Kinaxis board. Kinaxis’ unique combination of vision, architecture, product leadership, domain knowledge, and partner ecosystem allows it to bring superior value to clients, and transform the entire field of supply chain planning. I’m looking forward to bringing my 30 years of experience in supply chain software to the Board, as we accelerate the journey of enabling digital supply chains across the globe,” said Mr. Thomas.
Pamela Passman brings Kinaxis both top-level industry and global risk management experience. Ms. Passman culminated a 15-year career at Microsoft as Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Global Corporate and Regulatory Affairs. She advised the Board and led the company’s regulatory compliance in over 100 countries, addressing a range of privacy, security and other issues related to cloud computing, and its corporate philanthropic and citizenship work. Ms. Passman is currently the Vice-Chair of the Ethisphere Institute and President of the Center for Responsible Enterprise and Trade, organizations that work with global companies to advance risk management internally and with their supply chains.
“It is an exciting time to become a member of the Kinaxis Board. I have been impressed with Kinaxis’ record of innovation in developing a world-class cloud platform for supply chain management, while also addressing the exacting performance and security requirements of global enterprises. I look forward to leveraging my own experience with global organizations to support Kinaxis’ ongoing innovation and expansion, particularly in new markets in Europe and Asia,” noted Ms. Passman.
“I am very pleased to welcome Kelly and Pamela as directors, effective immediately. Both are highly accomplished professionals, bringing decades of experience operating at the highest level on product, market and compliance issues for leading companies in the supply chain and cloud infrastructure businesses. We welcome them both and look forward to their insights,” said Ian Giffen, Chairman of the Board, Kinaxis.
