John Sicard

President and Chief Executive Officer

John assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Kinaxis in January 2016. With over 23 years’ tenure at Kinaxis, John first started at the company as a key contributor to the architecture and development of Kinaxis’ supply chain management solutions in early 1994, and has since held a number of senior management roles in development, professional services, business consulting, sales, marketing and customer support. Prior to his current appointment, John was Chief Products Officer, overseeing all aspects of the product life cycle, including product vision and strategy, design and development, product management and quality assurance.

Before joining Kinaxis, John held senior software architect and management positions in research and development at FastMAN Software Systems, Inc (also known as Promira before being purchased by Manugistics), and Monenco Agra.

John earned a Bachelor of Computer Science, from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, with a strong focus on software architecture and UI Design. John is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.


Paul Carreiro

Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Paul leads Kinaxis’ Sales, Professional Services, Knowledge Services and Alliance teams to drive revenue growth globally, building directly on the company's objective of assuring the delivery of continuous customer value.

An avid triathlete, Paul holds a Master of Business Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science/NYU Stern/HEC, in addition to completing the Director’s College Program at McMaster University and Stanford University's Advanced Management Program.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the supply chain and enterprise software industry, Paul comes to Kinaxis having held senior positions at organizations such as IBM, SAP, and Infor, where he held the position of President and Managing Director, EMEA.

Richard Monkman

Richard Monkman, CA, CPA

Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Services

Richard joined Kinaxis as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Services in October 2005. Richard brings more than 30 years of finance experience to the Kinaxis management team, the vast majority of which is within the high tech industry.

With a broad technical and financial skill set, and rich experience in financing, business development, and corporate growth and restructuring, Richard and his team deliver value beyond the P&L line, by ensuring the finance agenda aligns, influences and delivers on Kinaxis' overall corporate strategy. Also a significant priority for Richard and the executive group is ongoing financial accountability and general corporate governance.

Prior to joining Kinaxis, Richard held chief financial officer and other senior finance positions with leading software, services and other public and private high tech companies – most notably, senior finance roles with Nokia, SHL Systemhouse and ISM Corp.

In addition to his Chartered Accountant, CPA designation, Richard holds a Master of Applied Science degree and a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Jay leads global go-to-market strategies to elevate awareness of the company’s breakthrough supply chain vision and drive innovation across strategy, brand, product, demand generation, and global execution.

Jay brings an extensive marketing and product background to his role, most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Intralinks where he led a global team through the execution of multiple go-to-market and demand generation strategies. Prior to Intralinks, Jay held CMO roles at IBM and Platform Computing, and was the General Manager of SaaS PLM at PTC (Parametric Technology Corp).

A client-focused product evangelist and relationship-driven team leader with a track record of success in software-as-a-service business models, Jay holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chief Human Resources Officer

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Megan oversees the global human resources operations at Kinaxis. With over 15 years of industry experience, Megan has played an integral role in developing the performance based culture at Kinaxis. As part of her role, she ensures that the human resources programs support the goals and objectives of the company, while also cultivating the organization as a top employer of choice, which has led to the company being recognized by a multitude of awards over the years.

Before joining Kinaxis, Megan worked at EMS Technologies/Honeywell, Sedona Networks, and Trillium Photonics. Megan graduated with a BA, Psychology from Carleton University.


Duncan Klett, Fellow and Co-Founder, Kinaxis

Duncan Klett

Fellow and Co-Founder

Duncan co-founded Kinaxis in 1984, at the time called Cadence Computer Corporation. Throughout his time at Kinaxis, Duncan has focused on product innovation. Acting as the interface between manufacturers, the Kinaxis design team, and executives, Duncan has led the successful fulfillment of several customer requirements.

In his current role as Fellow & Co-founder, Duncan draws on more than 30 years of experience with analytics and software solutions to design the next generation of Kinaxis product features to help companies balance supply and demand of everything, including helping them balance their entire supply chain network — from customers through to suppliers — to drive greater competitive advantage.

Prior to starting Kinaxis, Duncan held various positions with Bell Northern Research, where he worked in the development of real-time software, and Mitel Corporation, where he was Manager of IC Computer Aided Design.

Duncan has been involved with several professional and community organizations and regularly gives lectures at universities and industry events. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He is also a certified Professional Engineer.


Michael Mauger, Kinaxis

Vice President, Global Customer Care

As Vice President, Global Customer Care, Mike leads with a global perspective and directs worldwide customer support & renewals functions with a focus on support demand reduction and exemplary client satisfaction.

Prior to joining Kinaxis in 2017, Mike helped build global support and services teams around the world for Quest Software, Dell Software, SkillSoft (formerly SmartForce), and RBC Dominion Securities. With over 20 years of corporate leadership experience, Mike has an established track record of exceeding enterprise-wide service levels with a focus on customer support demand reduction and high customer satisfaction. Mike has earned multiple performance awards for delivering tangible outcomes, helped manage a customer support website that ranked in the top 10 in the industry and is a recognized leader in customer service playing many support roles throughout his career.

Vice President, Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Kris is responsible for leading the Product Management and User Experience (UX) Design functions to ensure that Kinaxis is building the right product innovations to meet customer, industry and market needs.

The Product Management team is responsible for collecting inputs from all internal and external channels; defining the priority, business requirements and value outcomes for features; and working closely with the Design and Development teams to deliver those capabilities to our users, field staff and partner ecosystem.

The User Experience (UX) Design team works side by side with the Product Management and Development teams to combine business requirements and technology into elegant, modern and intuitive user experiences. They bring to the table best practices and tools including Design Thinking, Rapid Prototyping, Visual Design, and Usability/Interaction Design principles to create the best possible experience for the user as they are using RapidResponse to deliver business value.

Kris joined Kinaxis in 1998 with the Professional Services organization as a consultant. He held various leadership roles including management of the Integration, Training, Project Management and Business Development groups over his 15 years in Professional Services, helping many customers drive value with their RapidResponse deployments. Putting to use his hands-on customer experiences, Kris established the Solution Development team at Kinaxis to build best-in-class business planning applications/products, which led him to his current role in Product Management.

Kris holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Research from the University of Windsor.


Lauren Thibodeau, Kinaxis

Vice President, Knowledge Management

As Vice President, Knowledge Management, Lauren leads the strategy and development of digital knowledge solutions that enable our customers and global partners to maximize their value from RapidResponse. In close partnership with internal and external stakeholders, Lauren also contributes to strategic customer experience initiatives to ensure the continuous delivery of customer value.

Throughout her 20 year enterprise software career, Lauren has held global leadership and executive roles at Cognos, IBM, and PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation). Lauren is active in knowledge and education industry associations, currently sitting on the Executive Council of the Customer Education Management Association (CEdMA), as well as the Conference Board of Canada’s Knowledge Management Council.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Education degree from Western University, and a Master’s degree in French Linguistics from the University of Ottawa.

Vice President, Product Development

As Vice President of Product Development, Gelu is responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, development, and testing of RapidResponse. He also works closely with the product management and solutions development teams to deliver high-quality product releases to customers.

Gelu joined Kinaxis in 2000 as an analytics software developer and has since held leadership roles on several development teams, including Analytics, Applications, Integration and Quality Assurance. Prior to his current role, Gelu was director of solution performance, leading a team of developers and analysts uniquely responsible for working cross-functionally to maintain and continuously improve the overall performance of both the standard product and configured RapidResponse solutions. Given his experience, Gelu has established a broad and deep understanding of the various elements that contribute to the Kinaxis RapidResponse product.

Gelu holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, is a certified Scrum Master and has over 20 years of experience in the software industry.
