John assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Kinaxis in January 2016. With nearly 30 years’ tenure at Kinaxis, John first started at the company as a key contributor to the architecture and development of Kinaxis’ supply chain management solutions in early 1994, and has since held a number of senior management roles in development, professional services, business consulting, sales, marketing and customer support. Prior to his current appointment, John was Chief Products Officer, overseeing all aspects of the product life cycle, including product vision and strategy, design and development, product management and quality assurance.
Before joining Kinaxis, John held senior software architect and management positions in research and development at FastMAN Software Systems, Inc (also known as Promira before being purchased by Manugistics), and Monenco Agra.
John earned a Bachelor of Computer Science, from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, with a strong focus on software architecture and UI Design. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
John lives in Kanata North with his wife and two sons, and furry Havanese Kenji. He looks forward to cruising to exotic and culturally rich places with his family, and never gives up an opportunity to relax in his favorite location – Sardinia, Italy. As a life-long drummer, John has a passion for music and enjoys producing music as well as playing with his band, Open Channel D.
Blaine joined Kinaxis in March 2020 as Executive Vice President, Finance, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2021. He oversees the company’s finance, procurement and corporate IT organizations.
Blaine brings more than 20 years of finance experience to the Kinaxis management team, the majority of which is within the high-tech industry. With a track record of successfully leading teams and scaling businesses, Blaine has in-depth knowledge of the software industry, and balances strong technical finance skills with a wealth of financing and M&A experience.
Prior to joining Kinaxis, Blaine served over 5 years as the Vice President of Finance at e-commerce giant Shopify. During his time at Shopify, Blaine was instrumental in taking Shopify public in 2015 and continued to support the company's rapid growth by building a global team to meet the needs of an organization that scaled to more than $1B in revenue and over 4,000 employees.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Blaine started his career with stints at Deloitte and Ernst & Young, while working in Vancouver, Bermuda, Luxembourg and Ottawa. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Simon Fraser University.
Blaine lives in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife and 3 kids. Never one to shy away from hard work, Blaine chooses to spend any remaining free time swimming, biking and running as a competitive triathlete.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Megan oversees the global human resources operations at Kinaxis. With over 15 years of industry experience, Megan has played an integral role in developing the performance based culture at Kinaxis. As part of her role, she ensures that the human resources programs support the goals and objectives of the company, while also cultivating the organization as a top employer of choice, which has led to the company being recognized by a multitude of awards over the years.
Before joining Kinaxis, Megan worked at EMS Technologies/Honeywell, Sedona Networks, and Trillium Photonics. Megan graduated with a BA, Psychology from Carleton University.
Megan lives in a small town just outside of Ottawa, and is slowly getting used to country living with all the woodland creatures. The things she cannot live without include her Kindle, tennis, fast cars, and her dog Cassidy. She spends her time outside of work volunteering for women’s shelters, advocating for survivors of domestic violence, and angel investing.
As President of Global Field Operations, Paul leads the Kinaxis Sales, Professional Services, Renewals and Alliance teams to drive revenue growth globally, building directly on the company's objective of assuring the delivery of continuous customer value.
An avid triathlete, Paul holds a Master of Business Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science/NYU Stern/HEC, in addition to completing the Director’s College Program at McMaster University and Stanford University's Advanced Management Program.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the supply chain and enterprise software industry, Paul comes to Kinaxis having held senior positions at organizations such as IBM, SAP and Infor, where he held the position of President and Managing Director, EMEA.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Anne is responsible for accelerating Kinaxis strategy development to add further value to customers. She and her team collaborate closely with customers, external stakeholders and the rest of the senior executive team to drive the strategic roadmap, thought leadership and identify emerging technologies and new industry opportunities.
A proven leader in analytics and digital transformation, with expertise in operations, supply chain, and strategy, Anne has extensive experience in managing supply chains for complex, global organizations. As Executive Director, Global Supply Chain Strategy, Analytics and Systems at Verizon, Anne was responsible for the strategic vision of the company’s global end-to-end supply chain, driving excellence through world-class data-analytics, process innovation and employee empowerment. Before Verizon, Anne spent several years at Cisco where she was responsible for managing advanced analytics, business intelligence and performance management teams.
Anne is a past president of INFORMS (the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences), a seasoned industry speaker and has served on several advisory boards. Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Anne has a BScH from Acadia University, MASc from the University of Waterloo and an MSc and PhD in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
As Chief Customer Success Officer, Mike leads with a global perspective and directs worldwide customer support, global customer success, and knowledge management functions with a focus on support demand reduction and exemplary client satisfaction.
Prior to joining Kinaxis in 2017, Mike helped build global support and services teams around the world for Quest Software, Dell Software, SkillSoft (formerly SmartForce), and RBC Dominion Securities. With over 20 years of corporate leadership experience, Mike has an established track record of exceeding enterprise-wide service levels with a focus on customer support demand reduction and high customer satisfaction. Mike has earned multiple performance awards for delivering tangible outcomes, helped manage a customer support website that ranked in the top 10 in the industry and is a recognized leader in customer service playing many support roles throughout his career.
Mike lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is married with one child, a 12-year-old gaming enthusiast and YouTube legend (in his own mind!). You can typically find Mike among nature…either looking for his lost golf balls or chasing bass in our many lakes.
As Executive Vice President of Engineering at Kinaxis, Gelu Ticala oversees the architecture, design, development and testing of the RapidResponse platform and Kinaxis-developed solutions.
With over 25 years of experience in the software industry, Gelu works closely with Product Management, Cloud Services and our partner ecosystem to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that delight users and solve the most complex challenges in supply chains around the world.
As Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Jamie is responsible for overseeing all legal matters and functions at Kinaxis in addition to overseeing the company’s security, risk, and compliance team.
Jamie brings more than 15 years of legal experience to Kinaxis, primarily focused on the technology sector. Prior to joining Kinaxis in 2015, Jamie practiced law at two international law firms (Dentons and Gowlings) and was in-house legal counsel (Mergers and Acquisitions) at Blackberry.
Jamie holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Science (Biology/Biotechnology) degrees from the University of Ottawa.
Jamie lives in Ottawa, Ontario with his wife and 4 kids. When he is not busy providing a taxi service for his children, he enjoys playing golf, hockey and tennis, and cheering for the Ottawa Senators.
With a PhD in distributed systems for integral inventory management from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Martin teamed up with his lifelong friend, Paul Van Dongen to develop the world’s only natively unified cloud platform for Multi-Party Orchestration (MPO). The mission was to leverage the power of cloud technology to help diverse businesses (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, logistics service providers) better manage modern industry pressures and challenges.
