Kinaxis®, provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the 2016 “100 Great Supply Chain Projects” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. The award spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to enterprises across supply chain functions.
For this year’s award, Kinaxis was nominated for a customer successfully implementing an end-to-end supply chain roadmap to improve supply chain visibility and develop collaborative planning with key customers and critical suppliers. The project’s focus was to move from a reactive supply chain management process to a proactive one.
“Through RapidResponse, our customer gained an integrated and live view of their extended global supply chain, which allowed them to simulate what-if scenarios and respond to unplanned changes, ultimately driving down their costs,” said John Sicard, chief executive officer at Kinaxis. “Being named to the Supply & Demand Chain Executive Top 100 Projects is always rewarding because this recognition is centered on our customer achieving supply chain breakthroughs and measurable results.”
The SDCE 100 is an annual list of 100 great supply chain projects. These projects can serve as a guide for supply chain executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. These projects show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.
“Our goal with 2016’s SDCE 100 is to shine the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the supply chain,” says Ronnie Garrett, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The selected projects can serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. We congratulate all of our winners for a job well done!”
