Kinaxis Inc. (TSX:KXS), provider of RapidResponse®, a leading cloud-based supply chain management solution based on concurrent planning, has been named a leader by Nucleus Research in its recently published Control Tower Matrix.

Kinaxis’ automation and collaboration were two key capabilities cited by Nucleus Research in its ranking of technology solutions in its recently published Control Tower Value Matrix. The research firm named Kinaxis® a leader for its concurrent planning capabilities, which help customers gain better visibility and control of their operations by connecting data, processes and people into a single environment.

The report explores the evolution of supply chain control towers from tools that deliver visibility, to ones that foster collaboration and enable automation. As an early innovator of both attributes, Kinaxis enables enterprises to realize complete supply chain visibility and the ability to concurrently manage planning activities. The report recognizes Kinaxis’ ability to connect data, people and processes, stating “RapidResponse gives users the ability to address supply chain issues based on customer-configured key performance indicators. Collaboration capabilities are bolstered by contextual data and information, giving users an archived record of what decision was made and how it was agreed upon.”

The Control Tower Value Matrix provides an in-depth review of the top 13 control tower vendors, revealing why Kinaxis RapidResponse® was ranked as a leader.

“The Ottawa, Canada-based vendor’s solution integrates data from multiple systems to provide a consolidated view of the entire supply chain, allowing real-time modeling and collaboration with trading partners and logistics providers to plan for expected performance, monitor progress and respond to issues,” according to the report, the full content of which is available for download via Kinaxis.com.
