Kinaxis®, provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, today announced that Manik Sharma, vice president of industry strategy and innovation at Kinaxis, has been selected by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine as a 2015 Provider ‘Pro to Know’.
At Kinaxis, Sharma guides field teams throughout the engagement lifecycle to prove the significant business and financial benefits to customers of RapidResponse applications. He works strategically to set supply chain benchmarks and develop solution and operational innovation for these organizations. His business process and technology expertise have made him a well trusted advisor in the industry.
“This award is a testament to the depth of Manik’s industry knowledge and his ability to help drive advancement in the supply chain field,” said John Sicard, chief products officer for Kinaxis. “We are fortunate to have him as part of our team and are delighted he’s joined the ranks of Kinaxis executives named as a ‘Pros to Know’.”
According to Sharma, “the focus on the visibility, performance, alignment and responsiveness of extended supply chains has never been greater.” In his opinion, companies need to position themselves at the right strategic level with a central system to concurrently plan, monitor and respond across functions and time ranges to maximize business performance as a whole.
“It’s very exciting to be named as a ‘Pro to Know’,” says Sharma. “I’m looking forward to continuing to educate companies on the significant impact that RapidResponse can have on their end-to-end supply chain and the resulting business value that can be achieved.”
