Kinaxis Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning System of Record
Second Consecutive Leadership Placement for Kinaxis
Kinaxis® (TSX:KXS), provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning (SCP) System of Record (SOR)” for a second consecutive time. This is one of two Gartner Magic Quadrant reports in which Kinaxis has been included and positioned as a leader.1
“We believe our continued leadership placement in this Gartner Magic Quadrant helps validate our authority and viability in this space,” said John Sicard, CEO, Kinaxis. “We feel being positioned the furthest for execution and vision within the Leaders Quadrant demonstrates strength. We pride ourselves on not only having a compelling vision, but also being able to successfully execute on that vision and most importantly, deliver tangible business results to our customers.”
The report evaluated 21 vendors based on completeness of vision in the supply chain planning system of record market and on their ability to execute to that vision. Kinaxis distinguished itself with a high standing on both measures.
According to Gartner, “an SCP SOR is a planning platform that enables a company to create, manage, link, align, collaborate and share its planning data across a supply chain — from demand plan creation through the supply-side response, and from detailed operational planning through tactical-level planning.”2
